Animax (アニマックス Animakkusu?), stylized as ANIMAX is a Japanese anime satellite television network, dedicated to broadcasting anime programming.[1] A subsidiary of Japanese media conglomerate Sony, it is headquartered in New Pier Takeshiba North Tower(ニューピア竹芝ノースタワー Nyū Pia Takeshiba Nōsu Tawā?) in Minato, Tokyo, Japan, with its co-founders and shareholders includingSony Pictures Entertainment Japan and the noted anime studios Sunrise,[1][2] Toei Animation,[3][4] TMS Entertainment, and production company NAS.[5][6]
